If you know Turner, you can probably look in her eyes closely and tell she doesn't feel very well in this picture. That was pretty much the theme of the Thanksgiving break. Turner had a double ear infection the week before Thanksgiving and we started antibiotics hoping that it would clear up before our trip to Louisiana for the holidays. We arrived in Louisiana on Tuesday night (one week into our first round of antibiotics) and Turner's fever had spiked again. For the remainder of the week she was quite fussy at times, very clingy, and fever sort of came and went at will. Another antibiotic has seemed to help, but she's still not 100%. I hate so much that Mark's extended family (who we only see once a year) didn't get to experience the "real Turner" - the funny, social, and happy girl that we see every day.
Despite not feeling her best, she did allow me to steal a few pictures while she played in the yard on Thanksgiving day. Here are a few of my favorites.

You've got to start 'em young, Sarah. You've GOT to start 'em young. (Referring to the picture with the basketball). Hope Turner feels better.
even sick she's the cutest thing ever - i swear, the more pictures i see of her, the better she gets. i loooooove her so much!!!!
I don't have the priviledge of "knowing" sweet Turner in person...but I could tell with one look that this little one was sick. Bless her sweet heart! Hope she is feeling much better today -- and that you'll give her an extra hug from all the Shraders out here in the desert!
Thanks for the note on my blog. Turner is adorable and she is such a mix of you and Mark. I love seeing her toddle around now. It's a whole different world isn't it? I was so glad my grandparents came-- and yes, they do bring back lots of memories! I look forward to visiting Auburn once the baby gets here. 7 more weeks!!!
