For our friends the Shraders? Their 12 year old son, Benjamin, had major hip surgery last Friday and had some big time complications yesterday. I do believe he is stable now, but they are desperately in need of prayers at this time. I know many of you are faithful and will pray for them. You can find their blog here.
Some background, Wade and Carol (the parents) went to Mississippi State with Mark. They have three precious triplets (Claire, Mason, and Benjamin) and an adorable daughter Cate. The triplets were born almost three months early and the two boys have cerebral palsy. Wade is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, so this family understands the magnitude of the surgery Benjamin had last week. Yet that doesn't make this any easier when it's your child in pain, need, etc.

Sarah-the Allison family will definitely lift them up in prayer...just so you know, I don't personally know Wade, but my family frequently refers to him as our Mayo Clinic angel. During our CWE summer, my dad had a stroke and had to spend some time there...I felt absolutely lost and helpless being "stuck" in Auburn. Your WONDERFUL husband asked Wade to visit my dad and mom in the hospital...after being there for 4 weeks, a southern voice AND a fellow MSU grad visit absolutely lifted their spirits and gave them some peace in a pretty tense situation. I truly think your husband was an angel to me and Wade was an angel to my folks. You can certainly count on us-they are SUCH great people!
