It was a special treat for me to join Turner's class as they traveled to Lazenby Farms for a field trip to the pumpkin patch. Special because it was Turner's first official field trip, her first trip on the LSA bus, and because the Lazenby's are sweet friends of ours from church.
Turner and Avery before they left the classroom.
Turner struggled with the snap on her jeans because she has grown so much over the summer they didn't fit any more! Long pants were a necessity so un-snapped was the name of the day for us, but it about drove her crazy!
The favorite activity of the day was the corn crib!
After a fun time on the playground we loaded up on the hayride to the pumpkin patch.
My strong willed (and strong armed) girl wanted to carry her own pumpkin after selecting the perfect one.
Learning about peanuts and cotton in the fields at the farm!
What a wonderful day at the farm!
