It was simply amazing.
I didn't have my big camera and most of the images below are iphone pictures from someone in our group or borrowed from instagram. Certainly with the "star" lineup of worship leaders there were parts of me who wanted to snap away, but it was quickly apparent that pictures weren't the point of the weekend.

The Friday night worship session was led by members of the Passion Band including Chris Tomlin, Christy and Nathan Nockels, David Crowder, and Kristian Stanfill. Again, my words can't do this justice, but the experience of joining with 1000 other worship leaders from across the nation and being led in worship by those individuals...absolutely awesome.

During the late night session on Friday night, we were privileged to participate in the live recording of Matt Redman's new album, due out September 24th. You'll want to mark your calendars for this release if you enjoy contemporary worship music. It's going to be something special. Below you'll see Matt center stage with Christy Nockels to the left.

We were fortunate to sit under the teaching of Louie Giglio and members of their Passion City Church leadership team, hearing how they strategically structure every facet of their ministries with a singular focus - the Gospel.
I listened to a breakout session led by Nathan Nockels on creating seamless transitions in worship. I learned valuable tools for maximizing my talents and gifts with available technologies to create worship moments in our weekly gatherings. This session challenged me but taught me so much.
This was an amazing weekend of refreshment for all of us and we left with a new outlook on our roles and responsibilities to lead our congregation in worship. And we are already talking about LIFT next year!
