iPhone dump from late summer!

We've soaked up every single minute of summer fun we could squeeze out of these last few weeks!

Lots of trips for ice cream to various locations - this time Chill with Anderson!

Tootsie is such a good sport and wore these multi-colored nails for days!
Turner and I participated in a Saturday morning art activity at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Art here in town.  We enjoyed our morning together and Turner loves her collage fish!

Turner and Francie sitting patiently waiting to hear the winner of Distinguished Young Women of Lee County (formerly and always to me Junior Miss).

This ice cream trip to TCBY - I had commented on the myriad of stuff (gummi bears, m&ms, etc.) in this concoction.  Anyone want to mess with that face?

Our down the street neighbors got a projector and hung some sheets over the garage and we had our own outdoor showing of Toy Story 3!  It was such a fun evening with lots of sugary treats, lots of summer bugs, and lots of fun fellowship with friends!

Turner is my favorite shopping buddy, because nearly every time she says something so hilarious that I find myself laughing out loud in the store.  On this particular trip through Victoria's Secret, she sneaked away to the back and came back to find me with these in hand.  Then she proceeded to explain, "This store has dresses for ME too!"  I managed to keep a straight face and ask her where she thought she would wear these lovely "dresses".  Without skipping a beat, "Well I think they'd be nice to wear to church!"  Oh MY!  Not in the South baby girl...and certainly not in a Baptist church!  :)  Look how proud she is, grinning from ear to ear!

Turner's second family - Laney, Aubrey, and my little man Hudson.  She has such fun at the Odom house every day!

All of last week these girls hand wrote and produced a play about Scooby Doo.  They practiced lines, found costumes, and were able to explain the plot fairly clearly.  Laney is Daphne, Turner is Velma, and Aubrey is Scooby Doo.

Life is good I tell you.  So many fun times - we are filled to the brim with summer joy.
