Football excitement - like nothing we've ever experienced before!

I took Turner with me to the Auburn vs. Georgia game, which as most people know turned out to be one of the most exciting games of this college football season. We were quite squished in our seats and thankfully Tootsie and Pop had two open seats near them, so we spent the game with them.  Turner always looks forward to visiting with her Andalusia friends Adeline and Annaleigh who sit nearby.

This is the face I turned around to after the "miracle catch" and the ensuing eruption of cheering.  Turner has never liked loud noises, especially unpredictable, unexpected loud noises. She was about hysterical by the time I finished celebrating and found her like this!  She did end up calming down and having a great time at Toomer's Corner!

Mark said he wasn't dying to go to the Iron Bowl, so Turner was my company again for what I knew would be a very loud environment.  I wasn't sure she was prepared to handle the noise and I wasn't sure I was prepared to navigate those crowds with a small child.  I am so glad she went with me  - years from now I will look back on this game and know it's what taught her to love the sport and tradition of Auburn football.

She was a trooper as the temperature dropped.  Can you tell she loves this new missing tooth, especially sticking her tongue through the hole?
I am still shocked at what we witnessed at the end of what I believe will be the biggest Iron Bowl win of my life.  The sound in that stadium was indescribable, and the excitement and pride that the Auburn family demonstrated after that win was priceless. We met up with my parents and headed to Toomer's Corner to meet my sister who was in town for Thanksgiving.  I don't think words really can't describe how the Auburn family felt that night but I know none of us will ever forget it.

War Eagle forever.
