Tootsie ordered the cutest cake to match Turner's invitations purchased from brownpaperstudios on etsy.

My sweet husband knew the excitement Turner and I shared for this party, yet rain threatened to adjust our plans for an outdoor party. Mark contacted a friend and they were kind enough to help us out with a tent in the event of rain. It was a tad cool, cloudy, and windy but thankfully the rain moved through overnight.

The canvas painting station - I just love these mini paint palettes that I got here!

I cannot believe this beautiful girl is 6! She's the kindest and most tenderhearted kid I know. She loves me and Mark so much and expresses that to us in so many ways. She's smart, hilarious, witty, and is the light of my life.
One of the highlights of the party was having a local artist painting faces for the guests. Turner had her face painted by Calla at the Loachapoka Syrup Sop this year and through a little investigative work I was able to find her and ask her to come to Turner's party. The kids absolutely LOVED this and she was completely the hit of the party. I love how she chose color schemes and themes that accentuated what the children were wearing!
Once they got their faces painted, it was time to get busy creating!

Check out these awesome face paint designs!

I think all of us had a fun time and the kids left with some fun new pieces of artwork!
After the guests left, even BB got in on the face painting!
We had such a fun time at this party! Happy Birthday sweet Turner!
