Turner and I spent the Veterans Day holiday and part of last weekend in Andalusia with Tootsie and Pop. You never know what we'll get into down there, but you can rest assured that I'll usually have a fresh haircut, some fun shopping finds, and a belly full of late night Dairy Queen ice cream.
Turner always reacquaints herself with "Gray Boy" when we arrive - the outside cat who my parents share with our neighbor.
And since Pop is growing a few citrus trees, Turner decided it was time to pick some lemons and make lemonade! There's nothing quite like fresh squeezed lemonade!
And then she convinced (that doesn't take anything but her suggestion by the way) to build another campfire like they had while she was down for her last visit. We roasted marshmallows, lit fire sticks and swirled them around in the air - so much fun to have a campfire in the yard!
Check out my pajama pants with candy canes...on November 11th!
And of course, Pop told her it was ok to eat Dairy Queen icecream (in a cone) while laying down on the floor horizontally. Because he's the grandparent...
Pop and Tootsie thank you, as usual, for a wonderfully fun weekend!

What a fun weekend! Love that the weather looks cool (something we covet here in FL :) ) and the fire and roasting marshmellows seems perfect!!
