I realized a few weeks ago that I haven't used my "big camera" much during these months and I started the process of uploading pictures from my phone. Thankfully my mom pointed me to an app that would make this easier so hopefully these pictures can give you a glimpse into some of the fun moments in the last few months!
Turner and Anderson spend lots of time together year round and both love to be outdoors. But in winter when we are forced to stay inside they are always creative to find something to entertain themselves (and in this case everyone).
Quite often I find these lovely self-portraits on my phone or iPad...
Turner and I have enjoyed learning how to use my Cricut I got for Christmas! She'll stick vinyl on anything that stands still for longer than 3 seconds!
Turner used some birthday money to purchase a Discovery Education pottery wheel at Kohl's, which turned out to be a very neat toy! Turner and Anderson spent a Saturday morning crafting a pot!
And they always love to set up a tent and have a camp-out!Several times this winter Turner asked me if she could get "dressed up" for dinner. This was one of her chosen ensembles - a bridesmaid dress I wore when I was 3, hair bow, bracelet, purse and shoes all picked out by Turner from the dress up closet! I thought this was such a sweet question to ask by the way and of course in my opinion you can get dressed up anytime you wish!
Another dress up event, this time a tea party with Caroline and Rebecca.
We had some fun on Valentine's Day with a Pinterest inspired hairdo - pigtail hearts!
With all the outside play and digging in the garden that spring brings, I assume it should be expected that I have dirty footprints across my den?

This is a horrible quality picture, but Aubie was at a reading event for our school system and it's one of the first times I can remember Turner actually approaching him without fear or being coerced! I was proud of her and she wanted me to take her picture - I was most unprepared but hurried to snap this one!
Words really can't even do this justice. Though it was too impractical to build a fire, Pop still couldn't stand to tell Turner "No", so he heated marshmallows for her Smore's with a candle lighter. At 8:00am just before she left for early church. Seriously.
Over my spring break we made some sidewalk paint with cornstarch and water - lots of fun!
Turner is so proud of this purple ruffly dress - mainly because Tootsie also purchased the matching headband. Tootsie would have NEVER picked this out but she knew it was Turner's favorite thing from the Kelly's Kids catalog this spring. Turner squealed up a storm when the package arrived. This is the picture we sent to Tootsie to thank her!
