This girl loves her daddy.
Feeding the fish and turtles
The first of many cannon balls!
This girl is swimming all over the place this summer - I am so proud!
This is the funniest noodle and such a hit at the pool!
Sunday after church I took my opportunity to snap a few pictures while we were still dressed up.
These next pictures were taken on a whim beside an old shack that a neighbor brought in to renovate and restore. They are some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken of Turner.
Always time for more fishing and this was Turner's first catch of the trip!
For some reason she was super excited about sticking her fish in my face!
The weather this year was absolutely beautiful and quite cool for Louisiana in July. We enjoyed many cool nights fishing and watching beautiful sunsets on the pier.
This was the look on her face on Monday morning...
...when she saw these two drive up in a paddle boat they found next door.
She sat in the back and fished while they worked their legs off trying to keep her in good fishing water. She actually caught a fish off the back!
These two are too cute!
Sitting in her daddy's chair watching the boats go by.
Running to go fishing after realizing that her daddy was down on the pier without her!
Our final morning was full of more swimming and fishing and
This is fishing with a purpose...leaving your shoes and goggles on just in case you have to be patient and you think you can take a quick swim break before you get a bite.
Uncle Richard and Aunt Arlene also joined us for the visit for the occasion of celebrating Granny and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary on July 6th. We had a wonderful time celebrating this special couple! I am thankful to have their example of Godly marriage to serve as a guide and testimony to God's great faithfulness to our family.
Turner always enjoys ice cream cones at Granny and Grandpas, and she can count on Granny to show her new games on the iPad.

Learning to knit with Aunt Arlene! Arlene always outdoes herself to hand craft new Barbie outfits and this time came with new adorable outfits for our American Girl dolls, Rebecca and Caroline. Turner is actually curious about knitting and was convinced that Arlene could teach her in about a day. :)
Happy Anniversary Granny and Grandpa! We love you and enjoyed our visit!
