There can only be one possible reason that I would have purchased all of the following items at Sam's at once....the beginning of football season! With many visitors on a weekly basis, one can never have too much toilet paper, too many paper towels, napkins, and paper plates, and a good supply of clorox wipes. :)

We started the weekend with a lazy Friday night with nothing on our agenda. We spent a while outside and I came inside to get dinner ready, and after about 30 min I noticed that Mark and Turner weren't back in our yard yet. I went to look for them and I found them (Turner) playing in a huge sand pile at a house down the street that's currently under construction. You'll notice in the pictures below that she was covered - I mean COVERED - in sand. Once you see the video of the bodysurfing, you'll understand why!

This is what happens when you wear your crocs on the wrong feet. Just in case you were wondering.
Early Saturday morning, Mark headed to Starkville for the MSU game. Turner and I enjoyed some time with Tootsie and Pop and took some fun Auburn pictures in the yard in Turner's new cheerleader uniform Tootsie brought! Pop cooked out some delicious hamburgers and I enjoyed a quick visit with my uncle and cousin before I left mid-day to drive to Birmingham for a wedding celebration for an old friend. I know some of you will be quite surprised that I skipped the AU game, but I did plan ahead and was able to listen on XM to the MSU game most of the way there and the AU game all the way home. :)
Here are a few of my favorites from our photo shoot in the yard yesterday.

Here's a slow motion demonstration of Turner's newest trick - a front flip!

Desperately trying to get the Tiger to flip...

Obviously telling one of us what we should be doing...

Another fun trick, wheelbarrow walking with Pop's help!

One of Turner's new favorite things to do outside is to "go fast" and run at full speed down this slight incline in our yard. We explained this to Tootsie (former PE teacher) and she decided to race with Turner! Here they are getting set...

...getting going...

...running at top speed and laughing her head off!

We really had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a day off tomorrow! And we will spend the week getting geared up for a fun (and not so fun) weekend for our family....the AU vs. MSU game!
