The Auburn vs. Mississippi State football game is always a fun one for us as it is one of the times each year that Mark and I cheer for opposite teams. (In case you are wondering, the other time is when Alabama plays Ole Miss...yes...he does cheer for Alabama. Oh the horror!) This year, we welcomed several of our MSU friends into our home for the day and it's always fun when this crew gets together. We were missing a couple of the other families we normally see in Starkville, but we enjoyed a day of great food, fun fellowship, and exciting football.

(As you can see, the Auburn crew was seriously outnumbered at my house!)

This was also a big day for us as it was our second attempt at taking Turner to an Auburn football game. We took her last year (at almost a year old) and she was terrified by the loud crowd noise. We didn't know what to expect this year, but since Tootsie and BB were here the volunteered to take her home if she couldn't handle it.
Here she is getting all fired up at our house before the game!

And riding with BB on the Tiger Transit bus...her first bus ride!

Walking to the game with Daddy...and a little awestruck by Jordan Hare.
(By far my favorite picture of the weekend.)

This little girl LOVED the game. As you can see below, she's a natural cheerleader (which she gets honestly from her Tootsie and Mommy) and she was completely into the eagle flying, doing "warrrrr eagle hey at kickoff", the band, and "Aubie on the TV". She actually lasted until halftime, and then she was just getting too tired to stay. Mark and I were absolutely blown away at how wonderful she was in this overwhelming environment. She has such a precious and fun personality!

...and she's already figured out that sometimes Auburn football requires a good amount of prayer! :)

What a fabulously fun weekend!

I thought about yall on Saturday-very much like our auburn/alabama weekend. However, Mark looks like a better sport than John will ever be and I will never EVER be able to dress Will or any future children in Bama gear...John said he would consider himself a failure as a father :)
I love the cheering pic in the crowd! Hilarious expression!
Absolutely beautiful baby girl! Love ya'll! War EAgle
