Sunday afternoon fun!

Yesterday, our church celebrated it's 40th anniversary with one joint church service and a dinner on the grounds. It was already later than usual when we arrived home, but there were a few things we needed to take care of before Pop and Tootsie headed home.

Like running in the grass.  In our Sunday dress.
Like cutting/pulling down another tree in our yard. If you missed the last installment of "woodcutters gone wild", click here.

And then, just as we were about to take Turner back for her nap, we remembered we wanted to dig the sweet potatoes we planted last spring while Pop and Tootsie were still here.  When I told Turner she was going to get to go back outside and do this before her nap she squealed and darted for the door.  She ran full speed to the garden shouting "Hey Guys!!?  WAIT FOR ME!"
These last two pictures cracked me up...Turner wanted to push her wheelbarrow (which she pronounces as "wheal-barrer" in a thick southern accent) full of the potatoes, but she couldn't get it to move well in the grass.  So she just dumped a few out to see if that would help.  She made two dumps before she decided it was light enough to push!  You'll notice Pop in the background picking up the dropped crops!

Looks like a productive Sunday! Turner is so precious--you need to frame that pic of her holding out her shovel with a proud smile on her face. Too cute!
