**One of the funniest videos I've ever shot of Turner is at the bottom of this post. If you don't desire to read all the text, scroll directly to the video if you want a good belly laugh!
These last three weeks have been busy for all of us! Aside from the usual busy stuff of life, Mark has worked many late, late nights selecting the new staff members for next year's CWE and SOS programs over these last few weeks. We've been fortunate to join him at an Auburn tradition, callouts, for both groups this year and you can see below Turner was really happy to see her Daddy.
Last Friday night, Turner and I went to the Lee-Scott Academy homecoming football game. Turner's teacher's daughter was in the homecoming court and Turner has been asking to go to a LSA football game all year. We had a great time and were thankful to sit near Turner's friend Madison. These two crack me up - Madison is actually in 1st grade and her brother is in Turner's class. But, these two hit it off at a birthday party a few weeks ago and every time they see one another they are two peas in a pod. It's actually ironic, Madison's grandparents and great-grandparents live in Andalusia and our families have been friends for years! Small world!
Last Saturday, Mark made the trip to the MSU vs. Tennessee game (an 8pm kickoff doesn't exactly work for all of us to attend) so Turner and I enjoyed a weekend home with nothing on our agenda! Anderson's dad had a big pile of dirt in the driveway for a landscaping project, but it turned out that he bought a big pile of entertainment for the whole street! We enjoyed a lazy day at home and Mark cheered the dawgs on to a victory! He made the drive back that night, arriving home at 3:30am, so he could see Turner's choir performance at church the next morning!
And as always, the children's choir (His Kidz) performance didn't disappoint! Turner just loves the stage and music just moves her! There was no choreography to the song, an oldies groove "You must get down, down on your knees, pray down, on your knees...". But Turner showed off her original choreography as you'll see in the video below. The expressions on her face just crack me up!
This picture is just hilarious...these two are singing (as I mentioned earlier, think 1950's soda shop) "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah..." and boy are they into it!
The following video was taken during the rehearsal prior to the service. I am so glad I thought to video the rehearsal, because she actually did very well during the performance. But in the rehearsal, we saw her tummy, she made a heart with her hand (instead of singing), and she danced all over the place! You'll see the camera jumping toward the end because I was so tickled!
