Syrup Sop 2012

We started our Saturday with a birthday party for our friend Francie, riding the train at Monkey Park!  Francie's parents grew up with me in Andalusia and it has been fun to watch the girls become friends through dance class!  We enjoyed a beautiful fall morning having fun with friends!

Turner about gave Tootsie a heart attach going down the fireman's pole!  Tootsie didn't know she could do that by herself.  As you'll see, we got a pose afterwards!

And of course I look down and see Turner with her shoes kicked off under the table, digging her feet in the dirt.  The girl has a love/hate relationship with shoes - she loves to shop for them but hates to wear them!

We ran home to pick up Dad and Pop who had been cutting grass all morning, and headed to Loachapoka, Alabama for the Syrup Sop!  This has become an annual tradition for my parents to come join us for this fun event!  I don't have many pictures because pretty quickly Turner convinced her Daddy and Pop to take her across the street to the historical park and old school house (while Tootsie and I shopped).  But, here are a few shots from our always memorable Saturday afternoon at the Syrup Sop!
