Fall Festival and the Pumpkin Patch

We enjoyed our second of three Fall Festivals this past week at the Lee Scott Fall Festival! I didn't get as many pictures as I expected, but it was quite a sight to see!  There was so much to see and do - for three hours Turner enjoyed every moment!

And on Friday, Tootsie and Pop got into town just in time join us at the Cotton Pickin' Pumpkin Patch for the second year!  We made our way through the corn maze, took our hayride to pick out the perfect pumpkin, and enjoyed making memories on the farm!  I've highlighted a few pictures below with text just to help you understand the context, but as I've gone through I think most don't need words for you to see how much fun we had!  Wonderful memories!!

As I went through Mom's pictures from her camera tonight, I saw a few pictures of events that occurred before Mark and I got to the farm.  I see Turner and Pop looking out the screen of this cotton picker that has been converted to a play slide for kids.  I wondered, "How in the world did Pop get down?" 

That's obviously a silly, silly, question.  Never mind that he's just had his rotator cuff surgery about 4 weeks ago, and in his lifetime two neck surgeries, at least one back surgery, and two foot surgeries.  In talking with him about this picture tonight, I think the slide is a bit faster than he anticipated!
