"We made it!"

This is how Mark greeted me as I came through the door last night. We have been looking forward to May 22nd for a long time - the end of this school year (that's year number 8 for me - WOW), the end of the first session of Camp War Eagle, and looking to have a good long weekend with Daddy home. No big plans for the holiday other than grilling some BBQ chicken and perhaps a trip to the pool.

The past week has been full of fun activities. On Saturday we celebrated the Rooker twins' 1st birthday. You'll notice in the last two pictures Turner located a piano nearby (one of her favorite hobbies here at the house). Her Daddy even taught her a few things - yes he can play. Turner is looking a little sleepy in the first picture, as we had to wake her up from nap to go to the party...but she did surprisingly well! (Likely because they had Turner's favorite "burgh - gers" to eat!

On Wednesday we attended our first CWE pep rally! She enjoyed shouting "War Eagle" with the crowd and dancing to the music - a nice change from last year when the noise seemed to bother her. Turner was a little afraid of Aubie, but she did get the treat of receiving her own official Auburn cheerleader poms! We think these are a very special treat!
