"Come here Aubie!"

The first two pep rallies of the year, Turner was quite afraid of Aubie. From a distance she seemed to want to be near him, but as he got closer she got more and more clutched to us. Tonight, the entire time Aubie did his skit Turner called him, "Come here, come here Aubie!" Mark decided we'd give it another try and coached her the whole way down the stairs...this is the result! (Please notice the girl's facial expression in the background...this young lady is one of the Aubie committee members and they all want Turner to like Aubie so much. Bless her heart, she was so genuinely excited that she wasn't afraid tonight!)

I am including the next two pictures to let you know that I do exist. One of Mark's co-workers commented on how many wonderful Auburn pictures we have of Turner and Mark, and how little there are of me with Turner. Mark grabbed the camera tonight and snapped a couple, and though I wasn't dressed in Auburn garb tonight (attended a church function tonight also) I am sharing them anyway. Here we are shaking with the fight song.

This is Mark's favorite. This surprised shot was snapped about .7 seconds after Turner heard the train whistle in the distance. This was followed by a "Toot toot!" from Turner.

This is the type smile you get when you say, "Turner, show us your teeth!"

Yay!!!! Thanks, Mark for taking some shots. I truly think that we are like "Charlie" of Charlie's Angels. Very much a part of everything, but no one ever sees our faces! Ahh, motherhood! Great pics!
