Summer Showoffs 2014

Turner looks forward to Summer Showoffs every single year and it's still one of the highlights of our summer!

This year, we were shocked to look over just before the show began to see her being interviewed by WSFA sports anchor Jeff Shearer.  (Just so happens…the counselor you see standing beside Turner is Jeff's daughter.)  While their specific comments didn't make the evening news we were just tickled for her to have the opportunity to speak to the camera!

We laughed after seeing this picture…Turner's hat fell off within 15 seconds of beginning the song.  Check out that gap on the right side - definitely caused by a faulty top hat!

Her confidence never ceases to amaze me.  I pray it grows stronger every single day of her life.

There's obviously no video allowed during the performances, but I do take video of their daily "parent showcase" where they show off what they've learned that day.  This video was at the end of day #1 - I am still in awe at how much they accomplish in a day!

As has become the norm, we can't wait till next year!
