Weekend in Starkville

On Friday we left immediately after school to head to Starkville for the MSU vs. Houston game. This was Turner's first trip to a MSU football game, and we are so proud of her as she actually made it through the entire game! After an early morning visiting friends, eating a yummy breakfast smorgasboard at the cafeteria, and a trip through campus toward the stadium, our little one was pretty tired...she slept through the first quarter, including the noise generated by 20,000 cowbells ringing in unison! But, after she got a quick nap, she really had a good time shaking her shaker in one hand and cowbell in the other!

There's nothing like wearing all of your maroon and white and riding in your AU stroller! Think we got some strange glances?
GO DAWGS!

Loving the MSU band!
A tired little girl (and a mommy trying to cover ears to keep her resting)!
This is what Turner did for most of the 4th quarter...steal popcorn from Mark's friend sitting in front of us!
Showing her Bulldog spirit!
Check out the size of this new jumbo-tron - ridiculous!!
This is Turner with our Starkville friend Phillip. He's actually two months younger than Turner, but weighs 10 pounds more and is about 3 inches taller! (At birth he was Turner's size at 2 months!) We are counting on him being an MSU offensive lineman one day!
We had a great visit in Starkville and hope to see you all again very soon!
