Thanks to our friends the Samplaskis, Turner had a brand new Longhorn shirt to wear to daycare today! The Samplaskis are from Austin, TX and Terry (our music minister) went to UT for a year. They are huge Longhorn fans, and for pretty much Turner's entire life they've worked diligently to teach her to say "Hook em' horns!" She's gotten really good at it in the last few months and anytime she sees Terry she shouts "Cook em' horns!" (Close enough, right?)
We got ready early today and had some fun with videos and pictures in preparation for the big game! We're cheering loud here in the Armstrong house! HOOK EM HORNS!!!

Notice in the picture below, she's actually in process of saying the word horns. And her little fingers just don't quite get set in the proper position when she's all into shouting the words!

But she did manage to hold the correct hand position for about a half a second this afternoon!

Sporting her new shirt! Thank you Mr. Terry and Mrs. Sharon!
In case you didn't catch that last part, when asked what you say when someone says "Roll Tide" Turner's automatic response is "STINKY!" Her daddy taught her that!

I love the shirt!! We worked on learning "hook em horns" this morning. It was more like a pinky in the air and "hook ho" but I will take what I can get.
Luv It!!
Huh-larious.
Sarah, that is just awesome! Can she please come over and teach EC that?!
YOU RAISED HER RIGHT!!! WAR EAGLE!!!
