Tumbling Class!
Turner was unbelievably excited today when I picked her up from Rhonda's, mainly because we were going home to put on her new "perfect" pink leotard! She completely stripped herself of her clothes (something normally she has help with) and just about came unglued when we actually got her in the leotard. I encouraged her to go check herself out in the mirror and she almost hyperventilated she was laughing and squealing so loud! Such a fun moment for us!!

Forward roll (I know...she'll kill me one day for this picture. And goodness at those thighs! Heredity did her WRONG I tell you!)
Look at the concentration! Last week she felt like she couldn't let go of my hand on the balance beam. Tonight, after some prodding, she did the full length several times all by herself!
This is Turner's second favorite activity - up and over! She's such a strong little girl (heredity did her right in that regard) she can actually hold herself up really well on this bar. But getting enough power to get that heavy hip region over the top is going to be interesting!

And this is her favorite activity - jumping in the blocks! Last week it was all she could talk about after we got home and during the week when we discussed tumbling class. Last week, she jumped down a trampoline, then jumped into a pit of these blocks. She would NOT do this without my assistance and holding at least one hand. Check out the pics below....I'd say we made progress in one week!

This pic was taken after she had run about 10 feet on a flat mat, then sailed into the air and downward into the block pit. Check out that hair as she's coming down!
We had an absolute BLAST at tumbling class! Tonight we showed all these pictures to Daddy, and I asked Turner if she wanted to go back again next week. She said, "No. I want to go now!" I'd say the perfect pink leotard was a smart purchase! :)
