The conversations we have while Turner is on the potty are always interesting, but tonight really takes the cake. (I am not sure this is going to be funny to those who weren't present at the time, but I had to record it so I didn't forget it.) Turner had tee-teed successfully, and was still sitting on the potty. I heard something, "plbbbtttttttzzz", and realized she had passed gas. Nothing out of the ordinary except it had a particularly buzzy sound and was sort of magnified by the hollow toilet bowl -but nothing out of the ordinary. As soon as she heard it she locked eyes with me and exclaimed, "There's a bee in there!" I am still laughing about it!
Later in the evening, we were playing with her plush nativity scene (we purposefully left that out for continued conversation through the year - it wasn't one of those Christmas items we find weeks after decorations have been put away), identifying characters, setting up the "scene", etc. Turner looked at me and said, "Here's baby Jesus, her* is cold!" I responded, "Well, baby Jesus is a boy. He is cold." And she promptly responded (as if I were completely ignorant), "NO. Baby Jesus is a girl." Um...not sure where that came from. I am pretty sure they didn't teach her that in Sunday School!
*We are working on personal pronouns, as her misuse of "her" rather than "she" is making her Daddy crazy!!

We love potty talk too!! :)
That is so funny!!! Where do they get these things?
we're working on the pronouns, too. jacks keeps referring to two or more people as "hims."
and he is just figuring out that nealy is a "she" or "her" not "him" or "it." ;)
LOVE the poot story!!!
